The official language, spoken in Republic of Bulgaria is Bulgarian.

Regarding the visa application, the Ministry of Interior provides information in both Bulgarian and English, while information in diplomatic and embassy representative agencies is in their own official language and also in one of the official foreign languages of UN.

For the needs of foreigners, residents in Bulgaria, there are agencies and offices, performing translations from and to Bulgarian, legalization of documents for and from foreign countries, authentication of documents in embassies and consular representative offices, notary authentication, text typing in Bulgarian and foreign language, fulfilling green card application forms as well as application forms in other educational programs, employment and immigration, conducting of business correspondence and more.
