In Varna there is a huge Armenian community – more than 4000 people. There are also Arabians, Greeks, Jewish, Poles, Czechs, Slovaks, Russians and Ukrainians living in the city.

There is a National ethnic festival that is held annually in Varna.

It is a big proud of the city the fact that the holidays of all ethnic groups are celebrates with the financial support of the local government. Municipality of Varna has also issued a calendar, dedicated to ethnic celebrations.
