On September 1st, 2009 Varna Business Agency launched the Project “An open window towards Bulgaria: from immigration to integration” (BG EIF 2008/01-03.01) – creation of a pilot information consultative-educative center for immigrants in the city of Varna, financed by the European Integration Fund of citizens coming from the Third World countries.
The project implies the innovative approach of a pilot multifunctional center that to be a starting point for the immigrants since it corresponds their problems in various aspects related to work, accommodation, education, social, health, cultural, political, administrative or legislative issues in order to become a proper “window toward Bulgaria”.
The project "Gateway to Bulgaria: From Immigration to Integration - Creating a pilot information center in Varna" (BG EIF 2008/01-03.01) is implemented with financial support from the European Union through the European Fund for Integration of third country nationals.

The Information Center has a key advisory role in the targeting of immigrants to the proper authority in each case, support for immigrants in their citizenship orientation and introduction to their rights and obligations in Bulgaria. The Center offers a supportive environment and individualized approach as a "one stop shop" for more rapid and full integration of immigrants into host societies.
The center has a team of qualified and specially trained staff who provide several complementary services concentrated in one place.
Center opened in December 2009.
